Stopped smoking over 6 months ago with the help of Louise at Clydebank Health Centre. I done really well on my own for a few months but went back to smoking. I felt embarrassed about contacting Louise again but I remember she said the door is always open.
Louise reassured me that it can sometimes take a few attempts to quit for good, this made me feel better, there was no judgement, no lecture just encouragement and advice. Once again the chats, support, advice and checking of my carbon monoxide level have been so good especially when I felt like giving it all up.
Doing great again I'm now 12 weeks without smoking and hopefully this is the time I do it for good. My breathing is so much better, my cough has disappeared and I have more money to spend. My reading has went from 25 to 2 that's what I liked about the clinic, I wanted it to be low so it kept me on track. The good thing was when I couldn't make my appointment Louise called me for a chat so I still had that weekly support. Thank you.
