"Efficient, welcoming and caring staff"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted for planned carpal tunnel decompression. The surgery went smoothly, the doctors and theatre staff were excellent and made me feel comfortable, keeping me informed throughout. The pre surgical care and post operative care went well. I would like to thank the nurses for their compassion and excellent care. As a nurse myself I felt proud to see how efficient, welcoming and caring the staff were to myself and the other patients. Whilst waiting for my family to collect me I waited downstairs and used the ladies, but found I had difficulty fastening my trousers, so stopped a lovely nurse/HCA who was really helpful, a special thank you to her. I would have no qualms if I ever have to use the services again. Thank you again.
