From the moment I arrived from North Devon Hospital via a blue light ambulance to Exeter Hospital I was greeted with nothing kindness.

The Critical Care Unit (CCU) is staffed by a team of angels who cared for me like a relative. I was well informed on my treatment plan and I felt very empowered to ask questions. I received gold standard treatment and felt I was in a private hospital. Never had so many tests in my life, so thorough.

From CCU I moved to Taw Ward, a mirror image of its sister ward. Again, the care has been phenomenal and I’m totally indebted to each and every member of staffs dedication, commitment to excellent care and calming dispositions in sometimes strenuous situations.
