"I felt so reassured by the team during the whole process"

I was seen in a Max Fax clinic to have a potential basal cell carcinoma examined and removed. I saw the consultant, Mr McAllister, the senior registrar, Gianni? and a nurse, Gail? during the procedure. The consultant was teaching a medical student throughout the procedure, asking questions in a constructive way to enable her learning.  The registrar did the procedure and listened to me when I indicated the local anaesthetic wasn’t working yet. The nurse was so kind, helping to relax me and explain what was going on, as well as supporting the doctor in the procedure. 

I felt so reassured by the team during the whole process of having the affected area removed.
