"Pain and fluid in the knees"

About: Physiotherapy / MSK Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

Week before Xmas one of my knees got painful and around one week later my other knee went the same way, went to the doctor, was referred to physio, had been a long haul but see slow progress, has had a big impact, not able to do the things I enjoy, skiing, hill  walking, dancing etc

Even the basic daily things you take for granted suddenly became an effort and by night you feel exhausted.

I feel a bit frustrated, but happy with the service.

Hello Rosie 1 - many thanks for your feedback which is welcome.

Results often take longer than we hope and managing expectations in this respect plays a large part in ultimately gaining some success - it is easy to give up too soon. I'm glad to hear some progress is now being made - keep working at it. Best of luck.
