"Appointment times"

Recently I was booked in for a blood test at 8.20am. One of the nurses asked me nicely to step outside the waiting room into the foyer while they have a meeting. She also asked what time our appointments were - I said “8.20am.” She replied “that’s unusual.”

Whilst sat in the foyer I saw on the window a notice stating the practice is closed between 8.15am - 8.30am every morning for a team meeting.

It seems “unusual” that this practice would book in appointments for times when the staff are unavailable. 

To be honest I was in and out quickly once the meeting had finished but my suggestion would be to make appointments inside of opening times.
