"Fantastic source of help and support"

About: Outpatients Department / Carers Cafe

(as the patient),

My wife who is my main Care Giver has been attending the Carers Cafe that meets in the Outpatient Dept at St Andrews Hospice.  I know that my wife looks forward to going to the Carers Cafe as it gives her some time out.  The Carers Cafe is a fantastic source of help and support to my wife and many other care givers as well.  My wife also often benefits from complementary therapy during her visit to the Cafe which helps her to relax and sleep better.  Along with my wife I honestly do appreciate everything that the Carers Cafe does to help and support all the caregivers who attend.

Dear hippoty33,

Thank you for writing such a wonderful comment about the Carer's Café and the support therapies within it. It is wonderful to hear that your wife finds the Café so supportive and that she sleep's better following Complimentary Therapy.

We believe that it is so important to support carer's. I can hear from your words what an essential support that she is to you and that you want to see her receiving support too.

I hope that we can continue to support you both according to your needs and I wish you well as you continue to cope with your illness,

Warmest regards,

Margaret
