"poor communication - waste of resources"

About: Sloan Medical Centre

many months ago I was prescribed alendronic acid. after consultation with a gp and a dentist I decided not to take the medication. the prescription was cancelled in Mar of 2024. since then I have received 2 invitations to attend for a p1Np blood test . I knew this to be a waste of time (I had looked it up online) but I couldn't persuade the reception staff of this so I reluctantly attended a consultation (27/8) where I explained all this to the phlebotomist. they were uncertain but after they contacted the GP it was agreed I didn't need the blood test.

so - a total waste of everyone's time, staff and patient. and when the info was available that the prescription had long since been deleted then why go on? why?

poor communication internally.
