We had our daughter a year ago and after a difficult labour, I wasn’t very mobile and having trouble breastfeeding. I’d lost confidence and it was incredibly painful. I’d tried watching the videos but they weren’t tailored to the situation I was in.
I called Breastfeeding Support Fife and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Bonnie came out that day and made the world of difference to me. She showed me what to do, gave me encouragement, and the team consistently followed up to check how I was doing.
I think they are vital support to help mums with their breastfeeding to help babies get breast milk wherever possible.
