My daughter received attentive support and diligent assessment and care from a FY2 Doctor in A&E recently.
I highly comment Dr Zoe for her interpersonal skills and overall approach .
She provided clear explanations and rationales for her treatment choices. Nothing was too much for her . As my daughter omitted some medical history details on initial consultation due to anxiety, I was able as a nurse and her Mother to relay these facts to Dr Zoe on second encounter with my daughter. Together we highlighted our concerns about specific lingering symptoms as this was my daughter's 2nd visit to A&E within a 6 day time frame.
Dr Zoe swiftly took this new data ion board and explained she would return relay this info back to the consultant she had already liaised with.
Her proposed action plan included CT investigation of renal tract & whilst this seemed a logical approach in light of my daughters past history , this was vetoed by consultant based on a few factors.
Again ,Dr Zoe clarified situation for us and gave clear directions for future care and actions if situation deteriorated. I feel she was highly competent and professional and her skills in ascertaining a differential diagnosis for my daughter were excellent.
Zoe was charming and interactive and genuine in her approach towards my daughter &myself for which I am extremely grateful .
We jointly wish her well in her academic and clinical future .
"Attentive support and diligent assessment"
