"Could not ask for more"

Referred for Colonoscopy last week at what I must admit was short notice and very prompt- hats off to the NHS systems. Arrived for appointment and greeted by very friendly staff and almost immediately undertook medical history and prep for procedure. From there was supported and helped in a supportive manner by all the staff I encountered. Questions answered and very soon procedure undertaken with staff talking me through the whole process. At end of the procedure I was given immediate feedback and then taken to recovery where I was given toast, jam and tea- what more could I ask for after 48 hours of starvation and simple diet of laxatives!

Thankyou very much to every single member of staff at Darlington hospital- from the front receptionist to the toast maker you were superb! I could not have asked for better support!
