"Thank you to everyone at the clinic"

About: Surgical Outpatients / Breast Clinic

(as a service user),

I went to my GP just 2 weeks ago about a breast lump. I was referred to the Breast clinic at Ninewells. I was happy at how quickly I got this appointment. The receptionist at the clinic was really friendly, smiley and welcoming. The waiting room was clean and tidy and it was nice to have a tv as a distraction. I was seen quickly, and every member of staff told me their name which I thought was great. I was always reassured and told what was about to happen and what would happen after. I was given reassurance and listened to.  I was treated with dignity and given privacy and time to get changed. Everyone was so nice, friendly, chatty, even though I could tell they were so busy. The HCA was kind and asked if I was okay, the radiographer was really professional and nice, the surgeon was reassuring and listened to my concerns. I was given my results there and then and I honestly can’t fault this service at all. The worst thing about having a medical issue is waiting for appointments and results and from visiting my GP to getting the results was only 2 weeks which I think is amazing. Thank you to everyone at the clinic. Please pass on my thanks.

Thank you so much for this kind feedback for our service. I will be very pleased to pass it on to our various staff groups. Everyone really takes pride in delivering a service that is as good for our patients as we can make it. The one-stop clinics are designed to get as much done in the one visit as we can, and for many patients like yourself, it is the only visit required.
