"The care I have received has been amazing"

About: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Mardon Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with GBS back in March and have been in Mardon for three months. Symptoms started on holiday and by the time I went to A&E I was so bad that I went straight to ICU.

It’s been a long journey and definitely not an easy one, but everyone at Mardon has been a huge part of this incredibly difficult time. The care I have received has been amazing and I can’t thank everyone enough for everything they’ve done

My time at Mardon has been incredibly helpful, not only have I got most of my strength back but I was helped with mental health and dealing with what’s happened.
