"I was needed a chat and support"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I had a stroke in march and stayed 4 weeks in hospital and moved to Redburn. I had to come back to Crosshouse ward 3E again. I think the ward is excellent, care was amazing, I can walk with zimmer frame and hoping to go home soon.

I don't want to leave the ward, physio is amazing, all nurses are amazing. Sister and Dr Ghosh are very nice and I felt so safe. I don't want to come back as a patient again, but the meals were so good, I liked them all and eat them all.

All the housekeepers were so helpful and nice. I was needed a chat and support and I had it all very well.

Thank you very much to Ensuke, Kevin, Isil, Nana, Lindsay, Cat and everyone.

Dear muscasf48

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided by the Stroke Service within University Hospital Crosshouse and at Redburn Rehab Ward, ACH.

I sorry to hear that you required admission to hospital following a stroke, but heartened to hear that you received such reassuring, friendly and professional care from our staff. It's high praise indeed when patients tell us they don't want to leave.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Ward Teams, and in particular with all the staff you have mentioned by name. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported by them.

Please accept my best wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge his care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
