"Online speech and language therapy"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat New Victoria Hospital / Speech and language therapy

(as the patient),

After years of clearing my throat and having a sore voice, I was diagnosed with a granuloma on my vocal chord.

Whilst this was eventually successfully removed, the crucial aspect of the treatment was the fantastic support and training I received from Jan. From the beginning, she was genuinely interested and took time to explain everything clearly and give me the confidence to develop the skills I needed to help my throat and stop the need to try and clear it.

Jan went above and beyond what was required and not only am I now much better but also have the confidence and skills to deal with any future issues. I can speak highly enough of the S&L support that I received.

Dear Dredd,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such positive feedback about your Speech and Language Therapy support.

I'm so glad that not only do you feel better, but that you also feel enabled to cope with any future issues. I have passed on your kind words to Jan and I know it will brighten her day to know that you found her input so helpful.

Hope everything continues to go well for your voice in the future.

Best wishes

Aileen
