"Happy with the care I received"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Medical Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

Came in by ambulance after fall at home .I was taken into a cubicle as soon as I arrived. Seen by a nurse made comfortable. I had 2 x-rays .Everything was explained to me by the nurse and doctor and about the treatment I was having..I was later found a bed on MAU ..I stayed in hospital for about 2 weeks as I had multiple rib fractures. I had a scan the day after admission. The next day a nerve block. I am happy with the care I received everyone was very caring but professional. My husband was able to stay in A E and he was looked after he has dementia which helped him. I found it very difficult to contact his daughters as there was no mobile signal.

Wishing you a continued speedy recovery.
