I recently was referred to the Endoscopy unit at Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Unit and I couldn't speak highly enough of my experience and how well I was treated, from start to finish.
4 weeks before , I received an Information pack regarding the procedure. A week before , I received a text to inform me that a nurse would be contacting me the next day for a chat through what would happen. The next day that's what happened. I spoke to a lovely nurse (i think her name was Crystal ) and she gave me such clear, professional, helpful advice about all aspects of what was to happen especially in relation to the preparation in the days beforehand. I found this so reassuring. Thank you.
When I arrived at the hospital, a very kind volunteer directed me to the unit. On arrival, the unit was calm, quiet and spotlessly clean, Well done ward manager Maureen.
The admission nurse Amy was just lovely and put me at my ease. Amanda who carried put the procedure was so approachable and I got such a strong feeling that she was very much in control of everything that was going to happen during the procedure and yet she was so down to earth. Rebecca and Claire during the procedure were so professional, as were Gemma, Danielle , Chloe and Róisín in recovery. I only encountered professional, happy staff in preparation for and during this procedure. Thank you all so much. Perhaps what stood out most of all was how kind you all were . Continue with this great work, you are all making such a difference.
Thanks so much again.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh.
