"Every interaction I felt totally at ease"

About: Community Services - North Devon / Midwifery North Devon District Hospital / Maternity care

(as a service user),

Just wanted to raise some positive feedback for the maternity services at NDH including the community midwives. I've had two children at NDH now ( 2023 and 2024) and with the exception of a minor incident (which was purely down to communication) I cannot fault any of the staff I came into contact with; from the consultants right down to the housekeeping staff, they were all amazing! Every interaction I felt totally at ease, heard and in control of my birth plan and preferences. Not only this but everyone was friendly, smiling and always made sure I was ok. Having had a child in a London hospital previously, NDH delivered not once but twice beyond exceptional standards in comparison.
