"Impressed with outstanding professionalism ."

I had a scare and was needing to get myself checked over . I was nervous and embarrassed but I finally summoned up the courage to ask for help.

I was needing a STI Screening. I would have to travel far to make it in to the clinic. I called the number displayed on the website and was put in a queue .

5 quickly went to 1 within 5 min then I was though. I was greeted by a lovely soft spoken voice which straight away put me at ease. I explained I lived far away and I hadn't booked an appointment. They told me not to worry and proceeded to see if they could sort something for me.

I wasn't expecting anything. Normally you are told to book an appointment and that's that. However they phoned me back within 10 min and offered me an appointment on the same day. I felt so fortunate and relieved that they had gone above and beyond to cater for my needs . 

The centre was easy to find and I arrived early and was given a friendly welcome. I was told I could relax in the waiting waiting room. Music was playing and I felt at ease.

Before I knew it I was introduced to Teina and she took me though to the examination room . She was very friendly and professional. I had a swab done, bloods taken and a urine sample. In total it took roughly 20 minutes which was brilliant. I was given advice and she made sure that if I needed any further support .

The results take 7 days and you are given a card with your unique number and helpline number if you need it .

Overall I was extremely impressed with the relaxing atmosphere cleanness and outstanding professionalism .
