"I am just in awe of what you do"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gynaecology (Ward 49)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to QUEH on earlier this year for a hysterectomy.

I was amazed by the care of the consultant Dr Khaund. I will be eternally grateful. What was brilliant was the care and attention in explaining everything before the operation.

That meant a great deal to me and I had loads of questions. On the day the care of the nurses who went through the pre op assessment was first class.

A special thank you to the anaesthetist team who took such care of me when I was cold and brought me a blanket.

The staff at ward 49 were exemplary considering the challenges of providing care over the busy holiday weekend. I am just in awe of what you do.

Dear Lwhgiffnock,

Thank you so much for the spending the time to send feedback following your surgery at the QEUH.

Dr Khaund will be very pleased you felt there was attention paid to explaining what you should expect during your journey - it is never a problem for Dr Khaund to answer your questions.

Our fantastic team in Ward 49 will be delighted you found them exemplary considering the challenges you felt they were facing.

I will share this lovely feedback - including our anaesthetic colleagues too.

Kind regards,

Nikki
