"Professional and helpful consultant"

I had a follow up consultation with Dr Mason, Respiratory Consultant for the Papworth Sleep Clinic. Dr Mason was exceptionally kind, thorough, supportive and personable, she listened to my symptoms and confirmed that in her opinion, I didn't have what a Registrar had previously diagnosed me with having. Dr Mason promptly suggested I come off the prescribed medication, as she wasn't convinced it was good for me and thoroughly explained why, this was a relief to hear. The previous registrar had also put on my clinic letter that I had something that I didn't and Dr Mason agreed and removed it. I was entirely impressed with her manners, professionalism and genuine caring nature. She is putting me forward for further investigations on a different matter. It would absolutely be wonderful if all medical professionals were like her. I was so impressed and felt cared for.
