"Grandson's accident"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as a parent/guardian),

I was anxious taking my grandson to A&E thinking we might be in for a long day.

We were booked in straight away and then didn't wait long to be triaged then taken to a room by Sarah nurse practitioner who then sent us to xray.

Throughout all staff spoke kindly to us and reassured us at every step.

The two nurses in orthopaedics who spoke with my grandson were lovely people. Great banter.

Special mention to Steven who put on the cast.

Dear Granny A,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I'm glad to hear that your visit to A&E was smooth and that you were seen promptly. It's wonderful to know that the team made you and your grandson feel reassured and cared for throughout the process.

I will make sure to pass on your kind words to the nurses in orthopaedics and give a special mention to Steven for his excellent work and friendly approach. We truly appreciate your feedback!

I hope your grandson is recovering well.

Andrea
