This place is too small to convey my gratitude to everyone at the hospital. My recent surgery was made easier by the very high standard of care received in the enhanced post operative care unit and the Planned care , Unit Every member of staff is dedicated to their job and does it to a very high standard I cannot praise them enough. I’m sure my recovery is going to be much quicker due to the care I had, even the food contrary to popular opinion was of a very high standard and a great selection. Pain management was excellent and the fact that I only ever had to buzz once for the nurse while I was there testifies to the very high level of care nothing was too much trouble for anyone whether it was the surgeon or the tea lady.
I never once felt sad or lonely or upset while I was there my recovery was the first thing that they considered my dignity was preserved and we even had a few laughs.
Cleanliness on the wards and the bathrooms was excellent. Nothing too much trouble for anyone even when I needed a pen everyone had a smile on their face which made life much more pleasant. I’m very grateful to the NHS and Treliske hospital in particular.
