"My amazing home birth & health visitor"

On my babies first birthday I’m reflecting on  the past year, which has brought me here to sing the praises of Amanda, our health visitor. 

I’ve had the toughest few years of my life with pregnancy sickness and a few complications post birth and honestly if it wasn’t for Amanda’s kind, caring knowledgeable care I genuinely don’t think I would have coped.

She went  above and beyond at every opportunity to advocate for me, support me with my personal physical ,mental and emotional  health when I didn’t have the energy or strength to stand up for myself and felt like I was being dismissed by doctors.  Shes so encouraging, and supportive with such a friendly demeanour - like a sister or aunt with superpowers. She’s honestly an angel, and I’m sure without her care I would have ended up hospitalised more than once!  

She’s such an asset to the community, I’ll be forever grateful for her kindness and care and I think her hard work and selflessness should be rewarded!
