"Nothing was too much for them"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I was recently taken to the ED of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. All staff involved in my care and treatment excelled themselves. Nothing was too much for them, and being agoraphobic, they all put me at ease. Junior Doctor Fiona, Staff Nurses Michelle, Eloise, Cheryl and HCA Ana were first class

Dear Nhsrules,

thank you so much for taking the time to submit a care opinion about your recent visit to our Emergency department. I hope you are feeling much better and are hopefully recovering back home. I will pass on your lovely comments to all our staff but especially Fiona, Michelle, Eloise, Cheryl and Ana. They work so hard, in often difficult circumstances and will be so grateful to know that you felt at ease with them and that your treatment was first class. Thank you.

with kind regards,

Karen

Update posted by NHSRules (the patient)

Thank you Karen. I am feeling a lot better. I am a huge supporter of the NHS and, as you say, the staff really do work hard. It makes me angry hearing people complain at the waiting times to be seen. The staff are not the ones to blame, but they get the brunt of it. They still provide first class care.

From a very grateful patient
