I could not thank the nurse’s more who looked after my nan who was placed in the high decency unit and the end of life team they took such great care of her although she could be very difficult when it came to watching her programs.
As a 20 year old making very tough decisions for my nan they always ensured i understood everything to great details. I didn’t take any of the nurses name as it was such a difficult time but the australian nurses who looked after my nan was amazing and was there everyday and even sat and spoke to me and my nan and treated her a person instead a patient. There was one nurse who even came into the room with me after my nan had passed away and even hugged me and stayed with me until i had left.
The end of life team was amazing and they support me the whole time and made sure i was okay while making very tough decisions and ensure i was taking care of myself during this time.
My nan passed away peacefully on 10/06/2024 and she has such great care and i hope the nurses are receiving the praises they deserve as they looked after jenny so much.
