About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I had a cholecystectomy and from start to finish, I couldn't fault the team helping with my care. Especially Queen who was my allocated nurse for the day. She really helped keep me calm as I was so nervous! She is a credit to the nursing profession as is the rest of the staff on ward 1 and 2.  The surgeons, anaesthetic team and nurse were amazing. Everyone was really attentive. Honestly, from someone who has anxiety, everyone was so happy to help.

Amazing comments and I have shared with Queen who is thrilled to be named. I will share with theatres and the teams so they all read this and I hope you are recovering well.

As Hub Matron and Theatres, I am so pleased to read that we are giving amazing care as that is what we strive to give and your comments prove we are getting this right.
