"Problems with balance and walking"

About: Community Therapy Services / Totton and Waterside

(as a service user),

I had a hip operation 15 years ago when a nerve was damaged during the epidural causing foot drop. Since then I have had increasing difficulty with walking and balance and general mobility issues.

Paul visited me at home weekly for several weeks for about an hour each time. He gave me exercises to help my mobility and provided equipment to help me get around the house. He was very patient, kind and helpful. He went through all the exercises with me until I was confident to do them myself. I feel that this has made a real difference to my life and I am very grateful to him.
