"Car parking"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Chemotherapy Day Unit (Ward 15)

(as a service user),

Drop off used for parking all day- I have seen regular culprits

Disabled spaces full of cars with no badges

It doesn't seem to be monitored

If it is used for non blue badge holders they could park better and more people could use or the whole area used for drop offs/ pick ups with time restrictions

Unable to get dropped off at cancer centre , chemotherapy or appointments with disabled badge holder

Dear Anon 78,

Thank you for sharing your experience of parking at University Hospital Monklands.

I am so sorry to hear of the difficulties you have experienced in getting dropped off close to the treatment centre. I can imagine how challenging and frustrating this must be for you. I also understand your frustrations with people using drop off areas as parking all day and non blue badge holders using the disabled spaces.

Could I ask that you contact our Patient Affairs team on the below details so we can investigate and provide a personal response to your concerns.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
