My experience is that I rang there, as advised to do so by the GP following a series of tests, having previously made 57 calls in the one morning trying to get through, been cut off twice, phoned back twice and finally got to speak to a receptionist, I was told I could get an appointment in September as GPs were on holiday. Here's hoping it's nothing fatal!
In my experience, this practice seems to run on a diet of constant reaction and little to no preparation and planning. The current issue is, reportedly, a lack of GPs with consequential reduction in the number of GP appointments being offered. This issue with staffing is an ongoing one and one that they should surely now be in a better place to address.
Problems are nothing new for Cityview. There always seems to be some problem...the most obvious being the impact of ineffective leadership and management at local and regional level on those it is supposed to be serving.
