About: South West Acute Hospital / Community Dental Services South West Acute Hospital / Day procedures unit (DPU)

(as a parent/guardian),

My son had an appointment in DPU SWAH for a tooth extraction recently. The care and compassion he received from all staff was first class, DPU nurse Betty, Dentist Mrs Ferguson & theatres nurse Paula explained everything so clearly in a way my son could understand. He was treated with utmost respect and dignity at all times by every staff member that treated my son from DPU, theatres & recovery.  We are very lucky to have a brilliant facility & such great staff on our doorstep.

We are delighted you were met with such care and compassion by the dental team and theatre staff especially Marie, Paula and Betty an excellent team. We aim to treat all patients with respect and offer a 1st class service and it is wonderful to hear you felt this was so.
