I had a sports related ankle injury so I attended Wishaw A&E. The receptionist was nice and friendly and I was seen by a Dr called Heather who was a consultant. The whole place looked so busy but Dr Heather always made me feel listened to and she was very kind.
She arranged for me to get an x-ray which was done by some very nice radiographers whose names I unfortunately cannot remember.
After it had been checked I was sent home and followed up in the following few days.
I was very nervous going into the hospital as it is quite an intimidating environment but I wanted to say how appreciative I was to every member of staff, and to Dr Heather in particular, despite the clear pressures they were under.
