"I applaud each and every one of you"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had surgery on my foot at Cannock chase hospital, from the moment I was admitted at 7am the care I received was exceptional -  from the HCA, the nurses, the anaesthetists, the theatre staff, the surgeon and physiotherapist, all were caring, friendly and kept me informed every step of the way, nothing was too much trouble for them.

After surgery I was constantly monitored for pain and pain relief was offered at regular intervals, I have never drank so much tea as the staff were again attentive to my well being.

The discharge was quick and everything about aftercare was explained. With all the negativity around the NHS, this hospital and its staff at the Hollybank ward are a shining example of the greatness of the NHS, I applaud each and every one of you.
