"Disappointed with service"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital / Dermatology

(as a service user),

Referred by GP for an urgent appointment for fast growing  lesion on my face. Got an appointment at Chorley within 2 weeks. Photograph taken of the site of the  lesion when it had fallen off, bled and left a scab covering remains of the lesion. Given a follow up NHS appointment with a nurse in over a months time which unfortunately I cannot attend. Next available appointment is 3 months away. Being concerned I  have paid for a private consultant appointment and been told I most likely have a Basal Cell Carcinoma. Very disappointed with NHS service who have not offered a timely face to face appointment for a worrying condition.
