"Follow up referral following my father having a fall at home"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Accident and emergency Urgent Community Response Mid Hants

(as a relative),

My father had a fall in the night and Winchester A&E ER team made a follow up referral for the UCR (Urgent Community Response Team) to make a home visit.

They responded immediately the next day and had all the necessary details. Visit was not rushed, plenty of time for full assessment and questions and answers.

Sarah was very professional, personable and friendly and all options explained. Details of further visits/actions clearly explained and communicated.

Very pleased.

I am the consultant for the Mid Hampshire Urgent Community Response service. Looking after individuals at home instead of hospital when it is safe to do so.

Thank you so much for letting us know how you and your father felt following a visit from our team. It’s so important to us that we look after both the person we are there to see and their loved ones.

I am pleased you felt reassured and confident in Sarah’s care for your dad. It’s important to us that our visits don’t feel rushed or too overwhelming as we cover a lot of ground.

I will make sure Sarah gets to see your feedback and we wish you and your dad the very best.

Thank you
