"Excellent care at the Glasgow Dental Hospital"

About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Oral Medicine - Level 4

(as the patient),

Required to go for a biopsy on the roof of my mouth and despite feeling anxious the care and attention given to me by Dr Chanla, Dr McGill, Dr Harrison and 2 nurses ( sorry didn’t catch their names) was exceptional .  Sorry but I hate going to the dentist and I’d rather go for minor surgery here over a filling any day. The procedure was thoroughly explained and the care and empathy shown to me made a huge difference to what could have been a scary situation. While I’m praying my results are fine and I won’t need to go back for more surgery, should I have to them I genuinely wouldn’t be anxious about being treated here based on my experience. Thank you to them all.

Dear FHS68,

I am sorry to hear that you have had to attend the Dental Hospital for treatment. Many patients do feel anxious about attending and I am happy to say they very often feel reassured following their visit.

I am so pleased that our team supported you, explaining the process, caring and helping you through your procedure.

Your very kind post will reassure many others, thank you for sharing your experience more widely. I will make sure your feedback is shared with Doctor Chawla and the wider team.

Wishing you the very best,

Fiona
