"Being in hospital and having an operation"

About: Victoria Hospital / Gynaecology Victoria Hospital / SEAL (Surgical Elective Admission Lounge)

(as the patient),

I was in the Victoria Hospital at the beginning of Aug 2024 due to me having a radical hysterectomy due to me having a cervical cancer.. I cannot thank the nurses at the day intervention unit , surgery staff , nurses and especially the gynaecology ward in Kirkcaldy hospital,  especially wee Hannah who was a uni student she was absolutely amazing and made me feel so much better .

Every single doctor and nurse I just want to thank you for looking after me

Dear Jenniferh8, thank you so much for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback. We really appreciated it, especially at this time, when you are recovering from your surgery. We are so pleased that the care you received had a positive impact on your experience. We will ensure your feedback is given to Hannah, we are really pleased that on qualifying she is coming to work within Gynaecology as a Staff Nurse. We wish you well in your recovery and any ongoing treatment. Kind regards Claire Massey
