"Excellent care"

About: York Hospital

Mum who has dementia and suffered a fall went through a&e there was a long wait however staff were so busy! They met checking in my mum offfering food and drink! Admitted to ward 24, fantastic ward from those providing general support, those delivering meals, staff assisting mum to eat and the nurses and Drs. Yes they are very busy but my mum was cared for and I cannot complain about anything in her 5week stay! Drs and nurses kept me up dated. Frustrated when mum was ready for dis charge with social services who were slow to do anything, lack of communication! Assessment done over the phone!!!!!!

On Mums last week she was moved to ward 29 again cannot fault the support, care and compassion given to her!

Thank You !!!!!!!!!!
