"respect, patience and care"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

I woke up in ICU following a brief stay on a renal ward. Obviously disoriented and scared. The team were amazing, they'd looked after my husband and friend during my "extended nap". In 2 weeks I witnessed the NHS (including agency staff) at their best. They fully deserved the pay increase they were fighting for.

If its hard to thank a single person for saving your life it's almost impossible to thank an extensive team of carers, Drs, registrars, nurses etc.

Utterly humbled.
