"A great experience in a stressful situation"

About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Day Procedure Unit - Withers 5A

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Withers Orthopaedic Centre in Musgrave and there were two really welcoming ladies at reception.

Admission up to the ward was really quick and easy, and I was greeted by a lovely healthcare assistant, unfortunately I can’t remember the young boy’s name but he was really lovely to all the patients.

The nurses were very efficient at admissions considering the new system in place also. The ward was so clean and fresh, nothing a bother for the staff.

The consultant anaesthetist Ryan was excellent at providing information and reassurance RE the procedure. 

The theatre team were lovely, nurse anaesthetist Ali and theatre nurse Josie really put me at ease as I was quite anxious. 

The recovery ward staff were great post-op at explaining everything and providing excellent care. 

A swift and easy discharge home and hopefully a full recovery now, but a great experience in a stressful situation.
