"Staff response to pull cord"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / General medicine

(as a service user),

There is a notice next to the red pull cord in the disabled toilet cubicle at local Coffee Shop which read :-

CAREFUL

Pulling this emergency alarm cord

will alert staff who will enter the

toilet immediately.

I wonder if the staff on ward D31 at the QMC have ever done this?

They certainly didn't when I was there in April, I waited a  very long time for any response and even then I had to crawl to the door to let the person in.
