"Genuinely caring and compassionate"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a carer),

I brought my dad  to his double appt. All the staff were so friendly, being greeted, spoken to and included in the initial patient registration process before procedures.

Then whilst I waited for dad all the staff I saw continued to be so friendly and happy to everyone that came through for their appointments.

When my dad returned he said the not very nice procedure was made as comfortable as possible with all the staff he came in contact with being genuinely caring and compassionate.

It makes such a difference and I wanted to make you aware of the amazing job that team are doing.

Thank you!!

Dear Charlotte572,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story on Care Opinion.

It is so lovely to hear that the experience you had in the Endoscopy unit showed how the team work every day. We strive to deliver professional and compassionate care with a smile on our face!

I am glad your dad's experience was also a positive one.

Feedback such as yours does give the whole team a boost, so once again thank you.
