About: Antrim Area Hospital / Ward A4 Endocrine and Diabetes

(as a service user),

During both of my pregnancies I have been very blessed to have had Dr Kennedy as my endocrinologist. There are no words to describe how amazing she is as doctor but also as a person. Dr Kennedy helps you care for your diabetes and your baby as if it was her own. She genuinely cares about what she does. Nothing is too much to ask. She keeps a really close eye on you during pregnancy to ensure you and your baby stay as healthy as possible. I have had two healthy children and I thank Dr Kennedy for this. During my second pregnancy I had a few complications … Dr Kennedy got me the help I needed quickly and efficiently and worked alongside the other professionals to make sure both my baby and I were kept safe. There really is no one like Dr Kennedy and I could never thank her enough for all the help she gave me.

My name is Natalie McLaughlin, Clinical Services Manager for Renal and Endocrine-Diabetes.

Firstly thank you very much for taking the time to post such uplifting and heartwarming feedback with regards to Dr Kennedy.

Dr Kennedy is very dedicated to each and everyone of her patients. Dr Kennedy regularly goes above and beyond to ensure her patients receive the best care, delivered with compassion and empathy. If there was a staff member to 'show case' the Trust's Core Values, Dr Kennedy would be that person.

I am so glad to hear during your 2 pregnancies that you encountered a very positive experience, and most importantly both babies and yourself were kept healthy and safe throughout your ante-natal journey.

I will be delighted to share this feedback with Dr Kenney, and assure you, she will be so grateful for your compliments.
