"The amazing care in the Mandeville Unit"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Mandeville Unit

(as the patient),

I felt anxious and nervous entering the Mandeville Unit for my second session of chemotherapy for my breast cancer treatment.

Gillian was the nurse who was giving me my chemotherapy along with a student called Megan. They were so gentle, caring, comforting and professional in their roles. I felt safe and secure at the time. All the staff in the Mandeville Unit are amazing and I couldn't speak highly enough of them. Gillian and Megan made a real difference and impact on my mental well-being that day. Actually forgot my husband was also supporting me. I'd also like to mention during my 4th chemotherapy session; Tina another nurse gave me a real comforting experience.

Amazing staff and a credit to their profession.
