My 15 year old daughter stayed there for 1 month after this time she complained to me considerably about how they were treated there. She came out more unwell then she went in. She then less then a month later was diagnosed and detained under the mental health act for 5 months. Some of the treatment by staff was disgusting at one point a member of staff distressed all the patients my daughter called me in tears begging me to get her out. The consultant at the time didn't see much wrong with my daughter believing she could cope fine. I partially believe that my daughter deteriorated health is to do with some of the shocking treatment there, there was also no fundamental help. At the time she was there none of the under 18s unless you were a private patient received therapy of any kind. I would strongly recommend that no one goes there, Parent of a child who has just been let out of a hdu
