"Best hospital I have ever been in"

About: Cameron Hospital / Acquired brain injury (under 65)

(as a service user),

Nurses in the Sir George Sharp Unit (SGSU) have impeccable care standards towards patients and are very diligent in their work. I found the nurses to have unimpeachable standard of care. They carry their work out very thoroughly, listening to the patients needs.

The nurses are very good listeners, they have an impeccable work ethic. This has helped me in a lot of ways. The team have helped me regain my balance and the nerve damage I have sustained has lessened significantly whilst being in the SGSU for almost 9 weeks.

I have been in 5 different hospitals including Elizabeth the 1st in Glasgow. SGSU is the best care I have ever received in my life. There has to be something special said about the SGSU, that to me is patient care.

Thank you JD2024 for sharing your experience whilst in SGSU.

Thank you for taking the time to give such positive feedback, I will ensure this is shared with all the staff. The team strive to provide person centred care, working closely with their patients focusing on achieving person centred goals. It is lovely to hear that you felt listened to and you have had positive outcomes with regards to regaining your balance and an improvement to your nerve damage.

I will ensure this is shared with all the team. I wish you well in your continuing recovery and thank you again for taking the time to feedback.

Kind regards

Mary Kinninmonth
