"Waiting times"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital / Fracture Clinic

(as a service user),

I’m sorry but what is the point in allowing people appointment times to then sit for hours waiting? What an absolute mess. Every single time I come here I am waiting over an hour to be seen.

How do we deal with this? Should patients come in hours late for their appointment to avoid waiting?

Not to forget the fact that patients of this service are people who are struggling to sit here for a lengthy period of time.

This is my LIFE you have on hold here.

Thank you for taking time to share your recent experience with us following your wait in the Fracture Clinic. I was sorry to see that you had incurred a delay and apologise for the impact of this for you.

This feedback has been shared with the team Manager who will discuss in their team huddles to look at improving communication and management of wait times within the department.
