"The perfect end to my pregnancy and birthing journey"

I delivered my son at home in Greenock under the care of midwives from Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Rankin Maternity Unit. 

The continuity of care I received throughout my pregnancy and birth was exceptional. I saw the same few midwives and consultant throughout the pregnancy and they were all keen to help me have the home birth I really wanted. 

My named midwife, Lynne, was here for the delivery with Sarah, who were both so helpful and professional, they really kept me going so I could have my son at home with the family members I wanted around me. Their patience with my other kids was tremendous. 

Myself and my family have had the most wonderful experience welcoming our 5th and final baby, thanks to the care of Lynne and Sarah and we can’t thank them enough, this will be the most treasured memory of my life and the perfect end to my pregnancy and birthing journey.
