About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Day Case unit

(as a service user),

I attended DESU for a procedure and I would like to say how lovely all the staff were.  The nurses and drs and anaesthetist all made me feel so comfortable and at ease.  They talked me through everything and came to speak to me after my procedure.  And to the nurse who's hand I held very tightly I hope you are ok lol. The coffee and toast were the best.  What a great bunch of people to have in a nerve wracking environment.  Thank you

Coordinate the smooth running of orthopaedic surgical lists in a busy Day case Unit delegating staff to ensure the care given to patients is of the highest possible standards.
