We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care provided by Susan at Haematology in Ninewells Hospital earlier this year.

Prior to Susan’s arrival, we found all the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. However, none of the nurses had direct responsibilities for my wife specifically, and they provided care and updates in a more general sense. Susan’s appointment has brought a significant positive change in this regard.

Susan is friendly, approachable, and an expert in the care of AML patients. She has provided tremendous assistance to my wife, giving her great peace of mind. My wife now has a direct contact number for Susan, ensuring that any issues can be addressed promptly, or escalated to the consultant, Dr. Tauro, at the earliest opportunity.

The addition of Susan has also provided outstanding support to myself, as well as to my wife’s other immediate family members. We cannot imagine what our care journey would have been like without Susan’s presence. She has made a world of difference to us all.

We sincerely hope that Susan can continue in this role for many years to come, providing others with the same amazing care that we are receiving.
